Day 1 Vienna

Make your own way to Vienna where you will join your Nicko Cruises ship. After time to settle into your cabin, meet your traveling companions over a welcome drink prior to dinner onboard this evening.
Please note: Ship embarkation on Day 1 is between 16:00 – 17:00. These timings are subject to change, so for peace of mind, we recommend that you arrive locally the day before the ship is due to depart. Meals included: D

Day 2 Budapest

Today you will have a tour of stunning Budapest and its impressive architecture. A bus tour will allow a beautiful view of the Buda Castle, Fishermen's Bastion and Matthias Church. You will also have the opportunity to visit the famous market. You may have lunch on board the ship, and the afternoon is yours to explore at leisure, you could perhaps visit a thermal spa. Day 3 Budapest

You have time this morning to explore Budapest at your leisure before casting off after lunch. You’ll have the opportunity to relax on board this afternoon and evening. Meals included: B,L,D

Day 4 Bratislava

Arrive into Bratislava this morning. Enjoy a morning city tour starting with a scenic drive to the most iconic landmarks in the Slovakian capital, the Castle, or Hrad which has some wonderful views across the city. The beautifully restored Old Town of Bratislava has some wonderful Baroque buildings to discover, such as the Redoubt, the National Theatre, the Town Hall, alongside palaces dating from the city's Imperial and Royal era. Day 5 Krems

The double city of Krems-Stein offers its visitors a wealth of cultural and historical attractions. The more than thousand years old history of the city is present everywhere, be it on the streets and squares, in old churches and monasteries or even the town houses and fortified buildings. A visit to the Augustinian Canons' Monastery of Herzogenburg will send you on a journey back in time to the monastery's more than 900 years of history. This baroque jewel offers a wealth of valuable art treasures and also provides an interesting insight into monastery life.
The ship will continue its journey after lunch.

Day 6 Linz

You’ll have the day to explore Linz at your leisure, 2009s European Capital of Culture. You could stroll through the alleys of the Old Town and see the magnificent inner courtyards and baroque main square with the imposing Holy Trinity Column. Meals included: B,L,D

Day 7 Vienna

Today the traditional Danube metropolis Vienna is on the program. From the pier you will pass the 'New Vienna' with the Uno-City and the Danube Island. See imposing magnificent buildings such as the State Opera, the Burgtheater, the Hofburg, the Parliament, the City Hall and the Votivkirche during the trip along the famous Ringstrasse. During a guided tour afterwards, you will experience this charming city first hand. You will have some free time before you return to your ship. Meals included: B,L,D

Day 8 Departure

After breakfast onboard, it's time to say goodbye to your fellow travelers as your trip comes to an end.
